If you’re hoping to go to Wicker Park Fest this weekend, you may want to find a way other than the Blue Line to get there.

Service between between the Western and Logan Square stations will be suspended from 10 p.m. Friday until 4 a.m. Monday, according to a statement from the CTA.

The CTA will provide free bus shuttles at the Western, California and Logan Square stations 24 hours a day, and customers are “strongly advised” to allow 15-20 minutes of extra travel time.

Additionally, the No. 52 Kedzie/California, the No. 56 Milwaukee and the No. 73 Armitage buses will be detoured to adjacent streets for construction and around Wicker Park Fest.

The festival takes place on Milwaukee Avenue between North and Paulina on Saturday and Sunday.

Another track closure is scheduled for the weekend of Aug. 8-11, the CTA warns.

The construction is part of the “Your New Blue” project, which will provide faster, smoother commutes and improved stations on the Blue Line.
