Man shot in South Shore

A man was shot in the South Shore neighborhood on the South Side Friday night.

The 26-year-old man suffered gunshot wounds to the arm and abdomen about 11:50 p.m. near South Oglesby Avenue and East 76th Street, police said.

He was taken to South Shore Hospital, where he was listed in “stable” condition, police said.

Police said the man is a documented gang member.
