Two shot in West Englewood

Two people were shot Saturday night in West Englewood.

The duo were standing near the corner in the 5900 block of South Honore Street about 11:20 p.m. when they “heard shots and felt pain,” police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said.

A 20-year-old man was shot in the leg and a 16-year-old was shot in the leg and arm, Alfaro said. Both were taken to Holy Cross Hospital in “stable” condition.
