A 50-year-old South Side man died Wednesday, two days after he was hit by a vehicle in west suburban Stone Park.

Juan Osornio was struck Monday in the 3900 block of West North Avenue in Stone Park, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Osornio, of the 2300 block of South Oakley, was taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, where he was pronounced dead at 1:07 p.m. Wednesday, authorities said.

An autopsy Friday found he died of multiple blunt force injuries and his death was ruled an accident.

Stone Park police did not immediately respond to requests for more details.
