SHARE Bridge demolition set for Monday on Route 25 in Elgin

Lanes along Illinois Route 25 and Stearns Road in Elgin will be closed Monday for bridge demolition.

All lanes of Route 25 will be closed between Stearns and Dunham roads, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., the Illinois Department of Transportation said. These closures will also affect the section of Stearns that shares the Illinois 25 corridor.

The project is expected to be completed by April 3.
