Logan Square man wins $100K lotto prize

A Chicago man won $100,000 after recently purchasing a Lucky Day Lotto ticket.

Dachno Jaroslaw purchased his ticket for the March 10 drawing at Tobacco City, 3252 W. Armitage, and matched all five numbers: 05 – 17 – 30 – 41 – 45, according to a statement from the Illinois Lottery.

The 66-year-old Logan Square resident said he plans to share the windfall with his daughter.

The retailer will receive 1 percent of the prize amount, or $1,000, for selling the winning ticket.
