A man shot himself in the foot Sunday afternoon in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The shooting happened in the 12200 block of South Normal at 1:10 p.m., police said.

The 21-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to his right fot that appeared to be self-inflicted, police said.

Additional details were not immediately available.
