DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2015

In the morning, the President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.

Later in the morning, the President will meet with a small group of veterans and Gold Star Mothers to discuss the Iran Nuclear deal. There will be a pool spray at the bottom of this meeting in the Roosevelt Room.

In the afternoon, the President will participate in a conference call with Rabbis for Rosh Hashanah. This call in the Oval Office is closed press.

Later in the afternoon, the President will award the 2014 National Medal of Arts and the National Humanities Medal to distinguished recipients; the First Lady will also attend. The National Endowment for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Humanities were established by the Congress in 1965 as independent agencies of the Federal Government. To date, the NEA has awarded more than $5 billion to support artistic excellence, creativity, and innovation for the benefit of individuals and communities. This event in the East Room is open press.
