Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a 16-year-old girl missing from the Northwest Side Hermosa neighborhood for more than a month.

Hanna Marie Gatewood, a “habitual runaway,” was last seen July 5 in the 1400 block of North Tripp, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police.

Gatewood has been seen near Fullerton and Kostner, in the 1100 block of South Richmond and the 1100 block of South Sacramento, police said.

She is described as a 105-pound, 5-feet-2 black girl with brown eyes, black hair and a medium complexion, police said. She was last seen wearing a blue tank top and red shorts.

Anyone with information on Gatewood’s whereabouts is asked to contact Area North detectives at (312) 744-8266.
