Bill Clinton kicks off fundraising for Hillary in Chicago

WASHINGTON – Former President Bill Clinton kicks off fundraising for Hillary’s presidential campaign with two high dollar events in Chicago on Sept. 17.

Former Secretary of State, Senator and first lady Clinton canceled a Sept. 17 return to hometown Chicago for a funder “due to schedules shifting,” her Illinois Finance Director, Jeremy Hallahan said in an e-mail to donors on Monday.

Instead, Bill Clinton, always a big draw in Chicago will be coming.

A 10 a.m. event will be hosted by Caralynn Collens, Steven Collens,

Matt Moog, J.B. Pritzker, Rishi Shah,Genevieve Thiers and Howard Tullman.

A noon event will be held at the home of Smita Shah, a longtime Clinton backer.
