A 64-year-old man reported missing from Douglas has been found almost a year later.

Edward West was missing from the 3200 block of South Prairie Avenue and last made contact with people on Oct. 16, 2018, according to an alert from Chicago police. 

Police canceled his missing persons alert Saturday, stating he was located and safe.
