A woman was killed in a motorcycle crash Friday on the Eisenhower Expressway in west suburban Forest Park.

Rosemarie Rivera, 48, was riding west on a 2011 Harley Davidson about 8:05 p.m. when she veered onto the left shoulder and hit the median near Des Plaines Avenue, Illinois State Police said.

Rivera was thrown from her motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

An autopsy Saturday ruled Rivera’s death an accident, the Cook County medical examiner’s office said. She lived in West Rogers Park on the North Side.
