Chicago Police Supt. David Brown and Mayor Lori Lightfoot held a press conference Monday to address overnight violence and looting downtown.

Widespread looting on the Magnificent Mile and in the Near North Side neighborhood prompted the Chicago Police Department to suspend CTA service, close roads and raise downtown bridges.
