One person injured in crash on I-80/94 in NW Indiana

(HAMMOND, Ind.) All lanes have been reopened after a crash on the Borman Expressway in northwest Indiana closed three eastbound lanes Thursday morning.

A semi and a car collided about 5:10 a.m. on eastbound I-80/94 near Cline Avenue in Hammond, according to Indiana State Police.

One person from the car was hurt and taken to a hospital, where they were treated and released, state police said.

The crash initially blocked the three left lanes, but all lanes had been reopened as of 6:50 a.m., according to state police.
