Two men are being held without bond for a shooting that happened last month on a Tri-State Tollway ramp near south suburban Calumet City.

Scott Brady, 24; and Larael L. Littleton, 23, are both charged with attempted murder and aggravated discharge of a firearm for the July 5 shooting incident, according to a statement from Illinois State Police.

The shots were fired about 7:45 a.m. on a ramp to Halsted Street from I-294 in Calumet City, the statement said.

Video surveillance footage later identified Littleton as the shooter, and Brady as the driver of the vehicle he was in, police claim. They were arrested and appeared for a bond hearing Monday at the Markham courthouse.

Brady and Littleton, both Chicago residents, were ordered held without bond, police said. They will next appear in court Sept. 8.

Authorities did not release further information about the shooting Tuesday afternoon.
