Obama guidance & press schedule, April 15, 2014: Passover seder

SHARE Obama guidance & press schedule, April 15, 2014: Passover seder

President Barack Obama on Tuesday meets with faith leaders to boost prospects for passing immigration reform (right now not very good), meets with Defense Sec. Chuck Hagel and then hosts his annual White House seder, with the core group of guests Obama 2008 campaign staffers who were in Harrisbug, Pa.  battling Hillary Rodham Clinton in the brutal Democratic primary on Passover 2008. The staffers put together a seder at a hotel on the campaign trail and Obama kept the tradition going when he reached the White House.

The campaign seder was led by Eric Lesser, then the campaign’s chief baggage wrangler who went on to become an assistant to then White House senior adviser David Axelrod and is now running for the state senate in Massachusetts.
