Once again, President Obama’s hometown Blackhawks are headed to the White House.

A day after Artemi Panarin registered a hat trick in New York, the Blackhawks will complete their White House hat trick Thursday by taking the Cup to the East Room for the third time in six seasons.

It’s a visit Obama has been looking forward to since June.

The Blackhawks have become the White House’s most frequent Chicago visitors, but they’re not the only Windy City team to head for Washington following a championship season.
