The White Sox optioned right-handed pitcher Dane Dunning to the Schaumburg training facility and recalled outfielder Nicky Delmonico from Schaumburg before Thursday’s game against the Tigers.

Delmonico is 3-15 (.200) with three RBI in six games this season. Dunning made his major-league debut Wednesday against the Tigers, allowing three runs on five hits with one walk and seven strikeouts over 4-1/3 innings.

The White Sox 40-man roster remains at 40.
