It appears that Justin Bieber may need surgery to repair a ruptured eardrum — suffered when the teen superstar went cliff-diving. The singer announced the situation to his fans — as usual — via Twitter:

“Busted my ear drum cliff diving. Doc says might need surgery now. Sucks.”

While it’s unclear when this occurred, photos of the Biebster jumping off a high ledge on the island of Kauai in Hawaii made the rounds on the internet last year.

However, it’s likely this new tweet is connected to a more recent Bieber dare-devil move.
