A 26-year-old man was wounded in a drive-by shooting Thursday afternoon in the West Side Austin neighborhood.

He was on his porch about 3:25 p.m. in the 500 block of North Leamington when he saw a light-colored minivan approach and someone fired shots from inside, according to Chicago Police. The man heard the shots and felt pain.

He suffered a gunshot wound to the right calf and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.
