A 21-year-old man was shot in the hip Thursday night in the Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side.

Someone in a blue car pulled up to him just before 7 p.m. and opened fire in the 7100 block of South Woodlawn, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
