A 19-year-old man accidentally shot himself in the leg Tuesday afternoon in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side, according to Chicago Police.

He took himself to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park after the 2:45 p.m. shooting in the 300 block of North Pine, police said.

The wound likely was self-inflicted, police said. He is listed in good condition.
