Police are warning residents of several robberies that have occurred this past month in the Grand Crossing and Auburn Gresham neighborhoods on the South Side.

In each incident, the suspects displayed firearms and demanded property from the victims, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.

The first robbery happened at 5:15 a.m. on Sept. 9 in the 7900 block of South Parnell, police said. The second robbery occurred at 5:00 a.m. on Sept. 19 in the 7800 block of South Lowe. The third happened at 4:45 a.m. on Sept. 25 in the 7900 block of South Emerald.

The two suspects are described as black men between the ages of 20 and 35 years old, between 5-foot-7 and 6 feet, and between 150 and 180 pounds. One man had dreadlocks and the other had short hair, police said.
