SHARE Mark Wahlberg shares his love for Jimmy Butler on SportsCenter

It wasn’t something anyone could have predicted, but somehow, someway Bulls star Jimmy Butler and A-list actor Mark Wahlberg have become the best of friends.

Tuesday, Wahlberg was on the set of SportsCenter to promote his new movie “Daddy’s Home” with co-star Will Ferrell. The Boston native not only talked about his relationship with Butler, but the Bulls guard even Skyped in for the interview.

The two not only are clearly good friends, but also share a mutual respect for the other’s work ethic. Butler even complimented Wahlberg’s basketball ability.

However, despite how popular Butler is becoming, don’t expect to see him on the big screen any time soon. The All-Star guard said he has enough on his plate and doesn’t plan on making any appearances in Wahlburg’s movies. Although, he did make an appearance on the movie star’s TV show, “Wahlburgers.”

The interview was fun and easy-going, for the most part, until Ferrell chimed in, that is. The hard-hitting journalist asked Butler if he was truly happy being in Chicago. Fortunately, Butler reassured fans he’s plenty happy just where he is.
