Burglars target two Crystal Lake homes

(CRYSTAL LAKE) McHenry County authorities issued an alert Wednesday warning of two recent home burglaries in northwest suburban Crystal Lake.

Two homes near Crystal Lake Avenue and Route 31 were burglarized during the day between Sept. 26-30, according to the McHenry County sheriff’s office. Jewelry and cash were taken.

Anyone with information should call the sheriff’s office at (815) 334-4750 or the Crime Stoppers tip line at (800) 762-7867.
