Man dies four days after Brighton Park shooting

A south suburban man died Tuesday, four days after he was shot on the Southwest Side.

Kyle Robertson, 23, of Lynwood, was shot in the head and an arm around 8:30 a.m. Nov. 7 in the 4700 block of South Western in Brighton Park, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

He was trying to get to Mount Sinai Hospital when his vehicle crashed into other vehicles in the 2800 block of South California, police said.

An autopsy Saturday determined he died from multiple gunshot wounds, and his death was ruled a homicide, according to the medical examiner’s office.
