SHARE A special trip back to Thornton up next for Rocky Hill

Rocky Hill spent nine seasons as coach at Thornton, guiding the program to a 182-71 record, including two Class AA runner-up finishes, before departing in 2003.

He since hasn’t been back to the famed Thornton gym as a varsity coach.

That will change Friday night, when Hill leads his alma mater, Thornridge, into Harvey to take on Thornton. Opening tip is at 6:30 p.m.
