Some interesting things come out of the mouths of those in Congress.

They’re even funnier when mashed up and set to music.

Thankfully, Roll Call has compiled some of the best as the 113th Congress came to a close.

For example:

“Somebody nice put a bottle of water under my chair,” said Rep. John Carter, R-Texas. “Who got the scotch?”

“Sen. Mike Johanns is the original, the original, wedding crasher,” said. Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Kentucky.

“In all my time here, there are only two people who haven’t given me value,” said Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah. “I guess I shouldn’t have said that, but there were two.”

“Dwayne Johnson, ‘The Rock’ is a University of Miami Hurricanes alum,” said Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, R-Florida. “It’s not braggin’ if it’s true.”
