In Deerfield’s Palatine Ed Moliter Tournament game at Palatine, Eric Porter found an easy layup off a terrific outlet pass from Patrick Burns.
Porter was Deerfield’s leading scorer with 24 points in a 60-53 win over Rolling Meadows.
Deerfield plays Richards at 6 p.m. Wednesday, while Rolling Meadows faces York at 4:30 p.m.
