The first New Trier-Evanston basketball games this season won’t be at Northwestern’s Welsh-Ryan Arena for the first time in 10 seasons due to a scheduling conflict with the college.

According to New Trier’s website, the CSL schedule didn’t allow for an alternative date at Northwestern. Instead, the Jan. 6 doubleheader will be played at New Trier. Tipoff for the girls is at 6 p.m. The boys game will follow.

The series will return to Northwestern for the second set of games Feb. 10.

New Trier said ticket plans for both schools will be announced Dec. 10.
