The Cook County tournament was interrupted Thursday by rain. The only game completed was Wilmette’s 12-5 win over Evanston, which eliminated Evanston.
Elk Grove plays Northbrook at 3:30 p.m. Friday in an elimination game, while Arlington Heights squares off against top-seeded Palatine at 7 p.m. Palatine hasn’t lost to Arlington this summer.
Because of Thursday’s weather, the championship game now will be Sunday at Recreation Park.
