High School Football and ESPN

The more I learn about this potential football game against Wheaton Warrenville South and Maine South, the farther away it seems to be.

After talking to Wheaton South’s AD Mike Healy on Tuesday, this game is in the early, early stages of negotiations. The schools are going through a third party marketing company that is responsible for most of the planning.

“Nothing is finalized,” Healy said. “There’s a lot of stuff still up in the air.”

Healy didn’t want to talk too much about the game because he doesn’t know much, and I don’t blame him at all. He said he hopes to know more by the middle of this month.
