Clooney says he’ll marry in Venice

George Clooney — notorious for trying to keep his private life private, did reveal a bit of information about his upcoming nuptials to Amal Alamuddin.

While accepting an award at a black-tie event in Tuscany this past weekend, the Oscar winner said, “I met my lovely bride to be here in Italy, whom I will be marrying, in a couple of weeks, in Venice, of all places,” according to a report by People magazine.

Rumors have long been flying that while Clooney would indeed tie the knot in Italy, it likely would take place at his estate on the shores of Lake Como.

The event Clooney attended was a fundraiser for the Andrea Bocelli Foundation and the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center.
