This season was the coming out party for the Cubs. Their lineup was filled with young prospects making their big league debut with outstanding results. But there seems to be more in the pipeline still to come.
Two players within the Cubs organization have been selected to the Arizona Fall League’s Fall Star Game. Catcher Wilson Contreras and pitcher Corey Black have been named to the East Team’s roster. Contreras is ranked as the No. 10 prospect in the Cubs program, Black is No. 19 and the ninth best pitcher.
