Alshon Jeffery, Matt Forte to play for Bears

GREEN BAY, Wis. — Bears running back Matt Forte and receiver Alshon Jeffery are active for Thursday night’s game against the Packers.

Forte sprained the MCL in his right knee when he was tackled by the Vikings on Nov. 1. He missed three games.

Jeffery missed last week’s game against the Broncos, and was limited the week before, because of a groin injury.

Safety Antrel Rolle, who hurt his knee late Friday, is inactive.

Tight end Martellus Bennett was declared out Wednesday because of a ribs injury suffered Sunday, while wide receiver Eddie Royal (knee) and running back Ka’Deem Carey (concussion) were also ruled out.

Defensive end Will Sutton, cornerback Jacoby Glenn and offensive lineman Nick Becton are also inactive. Curiously, Sutton was not on the injury report this week. In his place, defensive lineman Ziggy Hood is active for the first time with the Bears.
