Police are warning residents of the Southwest Side of a recent string of robberies in the West Lawn neighborhood.

In four recent incidents, the robbers approach someone and demand or forcibly remove their property, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.

The robberies happened:

– about 7:10 p.m. Oct. 28 in the 7600 block of South Cicero;

– about 3:50 p.m. Nov. 1 in the 7500 block of South Pulaski;

– about 5:40 p.m. Nov. 3 in the 7600 block of South Pulaski; and

– about 8:45 p.m. Nov. 4 in the 7600 block of South Cicero.

The robbers are described as one black female and two to four black males ranging from 18 to 25 years old, standing between 5-feet-9 and 5-feet-11 and weighing between 160 and 200 pounds, police said.
