Man killed in northwest Indiana crash

A man was killed in a crash in northwest Indiana Sunday.

Mario Arroyo Jr., 18, was killed in a crash on County Line Road near State Route 231 in Crown Point, according to the Lake County coroner’s office.

Arroyo, of the 900 Block of West Street in Valparaiso, suffered blunt force trauma in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:30 p.m., the coroner’s office said.
