A man was shot in south suburbanFord Heights early Monday.

The 28-year-old manwas sitting in his vehicle near the Atlantis Gentleman’s Club in the 1800 block of East Lincoln Highway at 3:10 a.m., when a man wearing a mask walked up tohisvehicle, according to the Cook County Sheriff’s Office.

When the mantried to leave, the suspect shot at him multiple times. The man’sinjuries were not life threatening, and he was taken to a nearby hospital, police said.

The suspect may have fled the scene in an old silver Ford Taurus or Mercury Sable, which may have a dent on the rear driver’s side.
