A man was stabbed and critically injured Friday afternoon during a fight in the Albany Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

About 4:45 p.m., the 51-year-old suffered multiple stab wounds during the fight with another male in the 4500 block of North Karlov, police said.

He was taken in critical condition to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, police said.
