Crystal Lake South displayed an out-of-synch offense for three quarters, clanging away at 23.3 percent from the field while wondering if and when it might stop.

With their season in the balance, the Gators went from horrific shooting to perfect, like someone flipped a switch.

After barely making anything, South could not miss in the fourth quarter, erasing a 10-point deficit and holding off Prairie Ridge, 44-41, in their Class 4A Huntley Regional semifinal Tuesday night.
