Ryan Pace parted with one of Phil Emery’s draft picks from only two years ago Monday, waiving linebacker Khaseem Greene.
The new Bears GM also released defensive end Austen Lane and signed three players who tried out during the rookie minicamp this past weekend: quarterback Pat Devlin, defensive tackle Terry Williams and linebacker Kyle Woestmann.
Greene was drafted No. 117 overall out of Rutgers, but was mostly disappointing in his two seasons. He started six times and played in 25 games and was a healthy scratch at times last season, playing in only 10 games.
The Bears now have 89 of their 90 allowable roster spots filled.
Devlin, 27, spent the last eight weeks of last season on the Vikings’ practice squad.
Williams started as East Carolina’s nose tackle for three seasons, while Woestmann made 24 starts at Vanderbilt.
