Man, woman shot in Austin

A man and woman were shot in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side early Saturday.

About 12:15 a.m., the man, 38, and woman, 24, were standing outside in the 100 block of South Leamington when a male got out of an SUV nearby and opened fire, police said.

Both were shot in the right foot and taken to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, where their conditions had stabilized.
