Man shot in West Pullman

A man was shot Tuesday afternoon in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The shooting happened in the 11900 block of South Perry about noon, police said.

The 23-year-old was shot in the left side and taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in fair condition, police said.

Details about the shooting were not immediately available.
