One of the world’s most electric entertainers — the one and only Lenny Kravitz — is finally making it to Ravinia’s stage in Highland Park. The rock superstar and actor will make his debut at the North Shore music venue on Sept. 3. Tickets go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. July 10 at Ravinia.org.

Among Kravitz’s many achievements is winning the Grammy for best male rock vocal performance — four years in a row — for “Fly Away,” “American Woman,” “Again” and “Dig In.”

Recently he appeared with Katy Perry at Super Bowl XLIX, and he is featured on Miguel’s new single, “Face The Sun.”

Kravitz has also been making major waves as an actor. Along with his role as Cinna in the “Hunger Games” franchise and key roles in “Lee Daniels’ The Butler” and Daniels’ “Precious,” Kravitz will be filming in Chicago for the upcoming second season of Fox’s hit series “Empire.”

The multi-talented performer is about to embark on a European tour this summer in support of his new album, “Strut.”
