Police are warning residents about a series of garage burglaries reported last month in the West Rogers Park neighborhood on the North Side.

In each of the reported break-ins, someone has entered garages either through force or through unlocked doors and removed property from within, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.

The burglaries occurred:

  • In the 6700 block of North Maplewood between 5 p.m. July 25 and 11 a.m. July 26;
  • In the 6600 block of North Maplewood between 10:30 p.m. July 29 and 8:30 a.m. July 30;
  • In the 6600 block of North Artesian about 5:30 a.m. July 25.

Anyone with information about the break-ins is asked to contact Area North detectives at (312) 744-8263.
