The NBA season may still be a ways off, but a pair of young stars are keeping the budding Bucks and Bulls rivalry alive in the Eurobasket tournament.

Spain and Greece paired off in the quarterfinals of the tournament with a bid to the Olympics on the line. Spain featured a two Bulls players, Nikola Mirotić and Pau Gasol, against young Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo on Greece.

The game was tight from start to finish, as two of Europe’s best teams duked it out. Spain would eventually win, 73-71, with a few highlight reel plays on both sides.

The young Bucks star came off his man to reject Gasol’s hook shot midway through the third quarter with the game tied.

Antetokounmpo was looking for his second block against a Bulls player when Mirotić attacked the rim. This time, it was the young Bulls player who came out on top in thunderous fashion.

Mirotić, Gasol and the Spain National Team move on to the semifinals.
