Rashada Dawan cast as Chaz Ebert in Black Ensemble Theatre musical

Rashada Dawan has been cast as Chaz Ebert alongside the previously announced Kevin Pollack as Roger Ebert in the world premiere musical “The BlackWhite Love Play: The Story of Chaz and Roger Ebert” at Black Ensemble Theater.

The Chicago born-and-raised actress is a bona fide “triple threat” — the hugely respectful theatrical term for actors/singer/dancers. Her credits include work with Black Ensemble Theatre (“The Other Cinderella”), BoHo Theatre (“Big River”), and Bailiwick Chicago (“Aida”).
