Man shot in Belmont Cragin

A man was shot Sunday night in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

The 21-year-old was driving an SUV in the 2500 block of North Laramie about 11 p.m. when he heard gunfire and realized he’d been shot in the foot, according to Chicago Police.

He drove himself to Community First Medical Center, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
