Grammy-nominated soul/jazz singer Aloe Blacc will be in Chicago at noon on Nov. 5 for Macy’s Great Tree Lighting festivities at noon at the retailer’s State Street store. The event is free and open to the public.

Blacc, whose hits include “I Need a Dollar,” “Wake Me Up” and “The Man,” will do the honors for the 45-foot-tall tree, which hangs from the ceiling of the Walnut Room. In addition, the store also will unveil their annual holiday windows, which will be on display through Jan. 8, 2017. This year’s theme for the windows is “Reason to Believe.”

Blacc is currently starring as one of the judges on the POP network reality music show “American Supergroup.”
