A man was shot Friday afternoon in the West Woodlawn neighborhood on the South Side.

The 19-year-old was standing on the sidewalk in the 6300 block of South Eberhart at 4:45 p.m. when he heard shots and realized he’d been hit in the leg, according to Chicago Police.

He walked into St. Bernard Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
